John Goerlitz knows network marketing from the ground up. He started at the bottom
and committed himself to mastering the skills necessary for being highly successful
in this business. Now he is one of the top income earners in his company. He not
only applies his skills consistently in his own business, but he also helps others do

I had operated a small business for years, but I knew almost nothing about network
marketing. John introduced me to the value of the product I marketed, coached

John and I have been business partners since 2004 and over the years I am proud to see him develop and grow as a leader. One of John’s strengths is his dedication to his team and clients. As a former vice president in human resources for a large financial institution, I’ve witnessed the devastating effects of mergers and downsizing. I knew that job security was a thing of the past and that I needed some kind of back-up plan in case I was the next to be let go. Despite a hectic work schedule, I started working on a home-based business part-time.

John Goerlitz was my coach and showed me how to fit this business into my already hectic work schedule. Although I knew nothing about running a small business of my own, he provided me with the mentoring that I needed to succeed. The one-on-one training sessions, webinars, and phone calls all helped me get to where I am today. Without John’s support, there is no way I would have survived being laid off. John is a great friend, and a great business man, and since I Joined USANA in January 2012 he has supported me every step of the way. Firstly John helped me to build my customer base, and then to build my business by seeking new opportunities each day and each month. After he returned from the USANA International Convention 2012, I was off to London 2012, after these events we had many of tales to share, and both came out with one key objective businesses are built on reputations, Good reputations keep the businesses going.

Since meeting John, I have been building my business, developing the customer service, and developing in myself. I also sometimes see everyone looking at me for change because I am the youngest member of John’s team at the small age of 20. However I don’t let this stop me I make this more of an opportunity to work harder, and I know every step of the way John is only a phone call away to help me with my dreams.
If I could sum John up in one sentence I would have to say “John is passionate, supportive and a great team player.

I first spoke to John in February 2007. Since that day he has willingly mentored, coached, trained and supported me in my business. For that I want to thank him wholeheartedly, especially for his professionalism, but most of all I thank him for his friendship. He has been the pillar in my business building, both when times were high and when times were low.

What can one say about those that always make themselves available. The phrase “In business for yourself, but not by yourself” should have the name, John Goerlitz attached to it. John is as consistent in his mentoring and training as he is in his own business. His ever expanding international business grows because he continues to express interest, spending time, working with and for those on his team. I have worked with John Goerlitz for four years now and since I first met him he has always lived up to the title of friend and mentor. John taught me how to be effective in my business and how to be effective in my relationships with others, which has helped me grow in every area of my life. He has always cared about me and my family and has always gone the extra mile. If I were to pick his most notable trait, it would be that he is able to see the potential in someone and help them bring it out. I feel blessed to know John Goerlitz.

While filling my pre-medical requisites during undergraduate school I realized there is a difference between security and freedom and that just because you have one doesn’t mean you have the other. I remember when I was volunteering for doctors I would watch them come in early in the morning and leave late in the evening day after day. Yes these doctors made lots of money, lived in nice homes, and drove nice cars, but they also spent most of their time and energy on work. It didn’t take much of watching this before I realized I wanted to find something that would provide me with both the financial security and the time freedom to do what I wanted WHEN I WANTED.

After spending over $8,000 dollars on programs and seminars I finally found John Goerlitz and USANA. I still remember when I first spoke with John on the phone 2½ years ago. I was a young, inexperienced, and broke college stud
ent who had a long list of debts and a negative bank account balance. I was working 2 jobs and attending college full-time and was tired of it.

Right away I realized that this was different than anything else that I have ever done. The best way to describe it was that IT WAS REAL. I was talking to real people who were building a real business and had a real interest in making sure I succeeded.

The last 2½ years have not been easy, I have had challenges and obstacles just like everybody does. Am I a millionaire now? No. Do I work for 30 minutes every other day and spend the rest of my time doing whatever I want. No. I do however operate a real business that produces a real income while most of my college friends are still trying to find jobs in this bad economy, and I don’t have to get up at a certain time and drive to a certain location everyday to do it. I work on my own hours and work from wherever I want. 2½ years ago I had never been on a plane. Since then I have been to 4 new countries and been to 11 new domestic states because of my business.

I would tell anybody reading this that you should give John a call and make your own decision. There is no charge and I am sure you will see how REAL this business is just like I did. One last thing for those people who don’t like to get on the phone and talk with new people I urge you to do so anyways. I used to be one of those people but life has been so much more rewarding since I changed.
